Sete Rios (seven rivers) station uses azulejos in an unusual way. Images have been spray-painted directly onto white tiles in an almost grafitti fashion. The azulejos illustrate some of the animals that can be found in the Zoo, which this station serves.
The Zoo is not one of Europe's most progressive and some of the animals look like they might be happier elsewhere.
